Our innovation and design expertise has been recognised by the Property Care Association as The Flood Company won the Innovation and Sustainability Award at the prestigious Property Care Awards last night (Tuesday 23rd June).
We were presented with our award at The Møller Centre, Cambridge, for the design and manufacture of our new Manor Prime, bespoke wooden flood door range.
Historically, flood doors have been made from UPVC or composite wood, therefore compromising the aesthetics of many properties. The Manor Prime range is unique as it allows property owners to have a beautiful, bespoke door designed to any specification, whilst offering the best flood protection on the market. Every Manor Prime door is individually hand made in the UK, by expert craftsmen, from Lignia XD™. Lignia XD™ is a managed plantation timber that has been processed to give it the properties of premium hardwood.
Speaking shortly after the award, The Flood Company founder and owner, Tony Ruddiman, said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been chosen to receive this award.
“Innovation and design is at the core of our business. After long periods of product testing and research, we finalised our unique system and chose Lignia XD™ as our key material. The exceptional performance of Lignia XD™ alongside the system design, created a perfect combination to allow style and performance to work in harmony.
“We are now looking forward to launching our next innovation later this year!”
